WHAT DO I NEED TO BE A CANDIDATE?

To install a ground source heat pump, you will need three things:

A clear space at least 16 feet by 16 feet, at least 10 feet away from house to place the borings. State rules on locating the borings apply and may limit where the borings can be located.

An accessible area 3 feet by 3 feet in your garage or home to place the heat pump. Heat pumps are very quite and can be located in nearly any space.

The electricity requirement is comparable to a central air conditioning system and is typically less than 20 amps.

Be sure to ask about Federal and State government tax rebates, as well as, long term, low interest loans that make buying a Geothermal Ground Source Heat Pump with the water heating capability possible for a few thousand dollars down to qualified buyers.
